Yes this is possible. We are happy to customise any piece for you in the colours lengths, materials you require, depending on the colours of beads available to us.

Depending on how you would like the piece to fit.
choker, then you should measure your neck, and provide your neck measurements, this way we can ensure a snug and beautiful fit. It is possible to add an extender chain to a choker, should you need one, if you are not confident on your measurements.
Collar Bone - Most designs can be made to sit on the collar bone, so you can give us a neck measurement, and we will take it from there, or if you have a necklace that already sits on your collar bone, measure that, and we can make the same length. However, most designs for the standard lengths of 15" + 2" extender chain is ideal for the majority of customers. We can adjust lengths shorter or longer to suit. Wire crafted jewellery is a standard length of 13.5" with 2" extender, as these need to sit quite snugly to give the perfect look, but again, we can alter the lengths to suit if you request so, or the design says in the description.
Below The Collar Bone- These are normally around 17-19 inches in length, and will sit below the collar bone to cover some of the upper chest area. These lengths are ideal for graduated designs such as 7 strand illusion necklace, also, some of the designs can be made longer for people who prefer the designs to be that bit longer, just e-mail us to see if the design can be changed.
Bracelets:
Wrist measurements can vary greatly from person to person, so we have tried to make an average length for various types bracelets as follows
Cuff bracelets - these fit snugly against the wrist, and are best made when a wrist measurement is provided, to we can make it fit perfectly, if a wrist measurement is not given, then we will make the design 6.5" with an extender chain.
Wire: Wire bracelets tend to fit more snug that your loose beaded type, to give a more cuff like look, so again a standard length is 6.5" with half inch extender chain. If you require the length to be altered, just let us know your wrist measurement, and we will adjust it accordingly.
Beaded bracelets - all of the other bracelets come in a standard length of 6.75" with half inch extender chain, but can be adjusted to suit. Just specify after checkout the length you require.
At Jewellery By Jo, we strive to make our own designs, and will not copy any other company's designs. Please do not ask us to do this.
In all of our jewellery, all fittings are done in sterling silver as standard, but 14kt gold is available at a supplemt. We also use sterling silver wire for all wirework designs.
Some items which have rhinestons and rondells in them - these beads are bought from the factory, and are encased in nickel free silver plate or gold plate. These are the only plated metal items for in any of out jewellery, but this will be specified in the description.
If you are allergic to silver plate, then rhinestone balls can be substituted for silver frosted beads (depending on size, a supplement may be payable)
TIARAS
All of our tiaras are made with either silver plated copper wire or gold plated copper wire. Sterling silver is avail at a supplement.
Gold Filled is not to be confused with gold plating or electroplating. Gold filled means that a layer of gold alloy has been bonded by heat and pressure to an underlying substrate which is normally brass or copper. Gold filled items usually have a set of figures with them indicating the type of gold used and the gold content i.e 14K/20 will mean the gold layer is 14 carat and that the gold is 1/20 or 5% by weight of the content of the item.
Unless otherwise stated, we only use 14kt gold filled products.
We accepts various payment methods which are
1. Paypal - This is an online secure payment system , which accepts all major credit and debit cards.
2. Cheques/ Postal Order - made payable to Jewellery By jo, and sent along with a completed order form to 19 Tarrareoch court, Armadale, West Lothian, EH48 2TF
3. BACS - Transfer money from your bank to ours.
We ship all over the world. For customers out with the EU, it is your responsibility to pay the local tax on the goods purchased from us.
We normally dispatched all of our items within 6 Weeks from order (earlier if colours of crystals and pearls are in stock). However, during our busy periods it may take upto 8-9 weeks, so best to order in plenty time.
Each piece in the uk is either sent by recorded delivery -1-2 days or Courier which is 1 day from dispatch.
Europe - this generally take 7 days to reach you from our date of dispatch.
Worldwide - Generally about 14days from dispatch + 7days if checked at customs*.
*please note that it is your responsability to pay any local / customs taxes which are not relevant in the uk.
In the unlikely event you do not recieve your order, we shall trace this with Royal Mail, as each piece is sent either recorder or special delivery.
If your order has not arrived within 15 days from dispatch for Uk/ Eurpoe & 30 days for rest of of the world we will
Send a replacement.
Yes, you can exchange a piece if you do not like it. Please e-mail us to explain, what is wrong with the product. We do charge a 30% charge for re-work, as each item is hand made to order, and this is a small charge towards the labour costs.
If the item is customised, there is no refund or exchange policy, as they can't be resold, so please be sure you have the correct sizes and colours.
We will then give you a returns reference. Please see our returns policy.
However, you will be responsible for the additional postage price, as well as any difference in price (if greater).
Unfortunatley, we do not have a brochure, as we are constantly adding items to our collection, this would not prove cost effective.
